Recruiting Student Members
Students of all ages can now join PTA. Students are our future. We all know that, but we often ignore that they are also the future of PTA. Students as young as those in elementary school can take on meaningful PTA tasks with adult supervision. Older students make great committee members and, in some cases, committee chairs. PTA can help them learn useful life skills while they are helping us achieve our goals.

Join PTA Online!
Please access your PTA's profile in PT Avenue as soon as possible to ensure your account is ready to go!
1) Confirm that your local dues amount is correct in the Profile > Profile screen. Local Dues equal the total dues amount, less $4.50 for State and National dues. The data you have entered into this profile is what will determine the dues for each member that joins through JoinPTA.org.
2) Confirm the routing and account number for your PTA bank account has been entered into the Profile > ACH tab. Texas PTA will only distribute funds electronically, so any dues received through JoinPTA.org will be held until that information is entered.
3) If your PT Avenue account is not in the 2016-2017 school/fiscal year, your Head Admin should complete the PT Avenue End of Year process from the Profile > End of Year screen.
Update your PT Avenue profile at www.ptavenue.com. If you need your username and password, contact the PT Avenue office.
